M. FREDERICK RETURN POLICY
Every M. Frederick product is designed and manufactured to the highest levels of quality and craftsmanship in the industry. Most non-furniture/non-custom items can be returned to within fourteen (14) days with an original receipt if they are in re-saleable condition and accompanied by the original packaging, if any. Hoever, items indicated on-line or in our retail store as Custom, must eb cancelled within two (2) business days from order or the order is non-cancellable. Items purchased from our Internet shopping site may be returned either to the store or may be shipped to our return receiving location. Monogrammed, custom and sale items are non-returnable. Any item that has been used, hung, altered, or is in any way unsaleable in an original format is not eligible for return.
Furniture/Custom Item Return Policy
To assist you in making your selection, we offer complimentary fabric and wood swatches. Custom-upholstered furniture, slipcovers and pillows, special order items, custom designed furniture, and custom specified items may only be returned for manufacturer's defects and delivery damage claims. Any furniture or special order item not in our showroom and which must therefore be special ordered is considered custom specified. All fabric is considered special order. Orders for custom-upholstered merchandise may be canceled within 48 hours of placement. Frames and springs are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects for the life of the product, and cushion inserts are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects for two (2) years from the date of purchase, all subject to the following conditions: Warranty applies only to the original owner and normal residential use. Defects resulting from negligence or abuse or for furniture used in a commercial, hospitality or other nonresidential setting are not covered. Furniture must be in the original upholstery cover. All other furniture may be returned to our store or our return receiving location within fourteen (14) days of receipt for a full merchandise-only refund only if it is in re-saleable condition and in its original product packaging; after 14 days, we will replace or refund your furniture purchase against defects only. Damage to any item shipped or delivered must be indicated at teh time of delivery and a claim files with the delivery company, not M. Frederick.
Returns By Mail
To return an item by mail, please follow the instructions included in the shipped package: Complete the Return Form attached to the invoice or gift receipt that accompanied the item. In the appropriate box on this form, indicate the reason for the return and the action to be taken, such as replacement or merchandise credit. Be sure to tear off and retain the top portion of the form for your records. If you do not have you original invoice or gift receipt, please include a letter with your returned merchandise that includes the following:
- Please call our customer service department at 908.669.4784 and you will be issued a return authorization number.
- The entire item must be returned in its original packaging and factory carton.
- Include a copy of the original receipt inside the carton.
- Write the return authorization number on the outside of the carton.

Please note you will be responsible for the cost of the return shipping and insurance. We recommend you keep the shipping receipt on hand until the credit is issued.
Your credit card will be credited for the price of the item and any taxes when we have received and processed your return. Please note that credit card companies vary on the time it takes for a credit to appear on their customers' records. Please allow one to two billing cycles for the refund to appear on your statement.
All returns will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. If you are considering purchasing multiple quantities of a single item, we suggest you order one first to make sure it fits your needs. Returns on expedited orders will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.
No returns will be accepted on custom orders or web special sales.
